The Flower Kingdom
The Valley of Flowers National Park is a UNESCO World Heritage Site tucked into the Chamoli district of Uttarakhand. Spread over 87.5 square kilometers between 3,352 m and 3,658 m, the valley cradles over 500 species of alpine flowers — including Himalayan blue poppies, orchids, primulas, marsh marigolds, and the elusive Brahma Kamal.
The valley is only accessible from June to October, with the peak bloom happening in mid-July to mid-August, when the monsoon paints the meadows in impossible shades of pink, gold, purple and blue.
Our route also includes an optional day-trip to Hemkund Sahib — the sacred glacial lake and gurudwara at 4,329 m, where Sikh pilgrims and trekkers walk together in silence.

The Journey
Day 01
Pickup from Akshardham Metro Station at 8:00 PM by AC vehicle. Overnight drive through Rishikesh and Rudraprayag along the Alaknanda to Govind Ghat (1,828 m). Rest at the guesthouse on arrival.
Day 02
After breakfast, begin the moderate 13 km trek along the Lakshman Ganga river through pine and deodar forests. Reach Ghangaria — our base village — by late afternoon. Rest, briefing, and dinner at the guesthouse.
Day 03
Enter the Valley of Flowers National Park at dawn and wander through kilometers of alpine bloom (3,658 m). Return to Ghangaria for lunch, then descend the same trail all the way back to Govind Ghat by evening. Overnight at the guesthouse.
Day 04
Full-day drive back to Delhi with lunch and tea stops along the Alaknanda and Ganga. Drop at Akshardham Metro Station by night.
